Singing In The Rain!
Tonbridge Castle on a cold, rain sodden Summer's evening is hardly the most conducive arena for a Band to make its premier performance however, Kathyrn Buck and her instrumentalists superbly rose to the occasion and made one feel the true "spirit of us Brits" who bravely soldier on in all elements.

The purpose of The Party On The Lawn, hosted by Tonbridge LIONS Club, was to raise Money for The British Legion; at the same time as celebrating their 90th Anniversary.

Taking us on a "musical journey" with music from the twenties right through to the modern day era, Kathryn competently entertained the audience with a variety of popular songs; with many people spontaneously dancing on the grass in their kagols and under umbrellas. The Band performed brilliantly with such enthusiasm and professional musicality it made one soon forget the appalling weather conditions. The momentum of the the evening never faltered; ending on a rousing rendition of favourite war time songs led by Kathryn in a striking "poppy red" outfit. Talk about "Flaming June"; they were a "Flaming Knockout".
